Xinjiang Hetian jade和田玉 is one of the four famous jades in Chinese history (the third is Shaanxi Lantian jade藍田玉, Liaoning Xiuyan jade岫巖玉 and Henan Dushan jade獨山玉).Compared with the nephrite jade in other parts of China, Hetian jade has more colors, including Hetian Tang、Hetian white jade, etc.

In ancient China, Chinese emperors prefer to use Hetian jade as the raw material for jade seals.
